It was in 1975 in California that James Jannard founded the Oakley brand with a budget of 300 dollars.

The very first product of the brand are motorcycle handles.

It was at the beginning of the 1980s that the brand started manufacturing sports glasses and a little later the brand would start developing and manufacturing high quality motocross googles.
