For the road during long ride or in the city, for 2021 the Italian brand X-Lite offers you the new X-Lite X-1005 Ultra Carbon Dyad flip up motorbike helmet which is the evolution of the old X-1004 Ultra Carbon.

The manufacturer has totally reworked this helmet especially in the design and shape of the outer shell in order to have a helmet with better aerodynamic behaviour and to adopt a more modern design.

Of course, all the strong points of this model have been kept, such as the all-carbon cap to save weight and resistance and its wide field of vision, while adopting a new interior that is adjustable to perfectly adjust the helmet's inclination on the head for more comfort and to keep a constant optimal visibility.

Material:

• The outer shell, available in 3 sizes to limit the volume of the helmet, is made entirely of carbon to save weight without neglecting protection.

Safety:

• Multi-density interior foams for good energy absorption in case of impact.

Aerodynamics:

• The shape of the helmet has been developed after study in the wind tunnel in order to guarantee a helmet that is stable at high speed and to relieve the cervical vertebrae by limiting resistance against the wind.

Chin strap:

• Mobile chin strap with easy opening via the Dual Action system to reduce accidental opening when handling a large winter glove for example.
• Once in the open position, it is possible to lock the chinrest in the open position thanks to a practical and easy to handle locking system.

Inside:

• Fully removable and washable with comfortable foams designed to fit the shape of the face.
• The foams are covered with Carbon Fitting Racing Experience fabric, which is constructed with activated carbon fibres that provide effective temperature regulation with anti-static properties.
• The cap is equipped with the Liner Positioning Control "LPC" which allows a personalised adjustment.
• Passage provided for glasses.

Visors:

• Colourless screen pre-equipped with anti-fog Pinlock with anti-scratch treatment with a very wide horizontal and vertical field of vision for perfect visibility in all conditions.
• Smoked interior sun visor, easy to handle with a 5 position notch system for a perfect adjustment of the sun visor.

Ventilation:

• 1 adjustable air intake at the chin strap and on the upper part of the helmet to ensure good ventilation.
• 2 extractors positioned in the rear spoiler to optimise air circulation and stabilisation of the helmet.

Chinstrap:

• Closure by Microlock2 micrometric buckle.
