During winter or mid-season, if you're a trail/adventure motorbike rider or you're not afraid of bad weather and cold, the Alpinestars Monteira Drystar XF long jacket is the motorbike jacket for you.

It features a host of innovations such as a laminated inner layer and technical textile reinforcements to offer greater durability and protection, and of course it also has a laminated waterproof membrane, a removable warm lining and plenty of ventilation to allow you to use the Monteira almost all year long.

Material:

• The jacket is primarily constructed from 2L 450D textile to provide a lightweight, strong and durable product and has 600D Dobby woven textile reinforcements on the most exposed areas such as elbows and shoulders for superior safety.

Lining:

• Removable 80g long sleeve thermal lining for effective protection against the cold.

Waterproofing:

• Waterproof and breathable Drystar XF double layer laminated membrane for perfect insulation from rain and moisture.
• DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment on the outer layer.

Ventilation:

• 2 large air inlets on the chest on the arms and 2 rear extractors closed by waterproof zips for optimal ventilation as soon as the temperatures become milder.

Safety:

• The elbows and shoulders are equipped with the comfortable Nucleon Flex Pro protections which are CE level 2 approved.
• The back is designed to receive a Nucleon back protector which is sold as an option.

Comfort:

• The sleeves are pre-shaped for ideal riding comfort.
• Long back profile for good protection of the lower back.
• Soft, comfortable collar that can be left open with a snap system.

Fit:

• Quick release straps at the waist, forearms and cuffs for a perfect fit and to limit flapping when removing the lining.
• The biceps are equipped with snaps.
