It has taken to the giant Alpinestars, 5 long years to develop its range of motocross helmets, and its new SM5 model is the result of a long research that has allowed the Italian brand to propose its vision of the entry range level motocross helmet by basing its construction on its big brothers, the M8 and the M10 while offering an ultra light outer shell that weighs only 1,260 grams on a size M that positions it among the lightest helmets of the moment without neglecting the protection that is available in 2 sizes to limit the volume of the helmet depending on the size.

The inside of the helmet is equipped with a multi-density inner shell for good energy absorption in the event of a strong impact which, combined with the specific construction of the inner and outer surfaces, limits the harmful effects of oblique impacts.

For your comfort, the S-M5 is equipped as standard with a comfortable 3D foam interior, which is fully removable and washable in Silverplus® fabric with anti-bacterial treatment allowing both good air circulation and quick drying after long sessions on the track.

In order to prevent injuries to the collarbones, the lower part of the TPU shell contains soft ESP foams to prevent direct impact on the hard shell, thus limiting collarbone injuries.
